Goodwood road and an hour to spare.
I “grew up” here, my head floating in nostalgia.
I had no car then, no fancy mobile or watch
My dearest belongings were a red mp3 and a tiny phone to match,
I had a heart full of courage but future unknown
I knew my allies
Were my parents alone;
Goodwood watched me grow
As I matured from a girl to the woman I am now
Many memories to think of
Some good, some lessons, some just how life as it was then
Failures became my piller
And music was my strength.
